Born from Bulldog Pride.
The Travel Bell started with a simple problem every MSU fan knows: you can't take a real cowbell everywhere. We fixed that.
The Cowbell Goes Everywhere Now
It started on a road trip to an away game. As a Starkville native, I grew up with the glorious sound of cowbells ringing in the stands. I desperately wished I could take my bell into the away game stadium, but I knew I would have to settle for annoying the home team fans while ringing it out of the car window. And that is where the idea was born!
That frustration became a question: why isn't there a cowbell you can take anywhere? Lightweight. Quiet enough for a carry-on. Loud enough in spirit. Something that says Hail State without setting off a metal detector.
The Travel Bell is the answer. A foam cowbell built for Bulldogs on the move — for road trips, bowl games, watch parties, and every moment in between that calls for a little Starkville spirit.
Hail State — wherever you are.
Why the Cowbell Matters
The cowbell isn't just a noisemaker. It's the sound of Mississippi State. It's been rung at Davis Wade Stadium for generations — through championships, upsets, and every fourth-quarter comeback. It's the thing opposing fans dread and Bulldog fans live for. The Travel Bell doesn't replace that tradition. It extends it — to every airport, every bar, every living room where Bulldogs gather to watch their team.
Made by Fans, for Fans
We're a small team of Mississippi State alumni and lifelong Bulldog fans. No big corporate backing. No licensing deal. Just a group of people who love this university, love this tradition, and wanted to build something that lets every MSU fan carry a piece of Starkville with them wherever they go.
